Feature Femme Gem, Model & Dancer Holly
What’s your name?
What five words best describe you?
Positive, driven, energetic, spontaneous, social.
What are you studying in school?
I went to Sheridan College, where I studied performing arts,
When and how did you get into modelling?
It kind of all started after college, I was in a dance company downtown Toronto, at the start of the year we had to do head shots and company shoots as well, and I found I really enjoyed having pictures taken of me. I then started helping the students at Sheridan with photography assignments, and after that I simply continued to progress with my modelling career.
What do you love most about Femme Fatale?
Femme Fatale is like a family to me. All of the girls we work with are amazing and super nice to each other, there is never any hate or drama between the girls, like you would expect there to be. It’s a great company to work for and a wonderful environment wherever we work! Emily of course is also super sweet, and a wonderful fun woman to work for! I couldn’t ask for a better boss.
If you had any advice for a girl who wanted to become part of Femme Fatale what would you tell them?
Be confident! There is nothing sexier and more appealing than a women who knows they are a great asset to any promotional company, and I’m sure all the clients we are so honoured to work with see and appreciate a girl who believes in her own beauty.
What 3 characteristics do you think it takes to become a Femme Gem?
First and foremost is confidence, a girl who takes good care of herself, both her body and her mind, and a hard honest worker!
If you had to sum up Femme Fatale in 1 word, what would it be?
That’s easy… Fabulous!
You’ve worked quite a few events with us, which has been your favourite thus far?
I got to work the forth anniversary party for Femme Fatale at Unuin Nightclub, and I must say that might have been my all time favourite. It was a great event, with many of the girls attending, both working and just coming to support, it was great seeing everyone. And I was also privileged enough to be a dancer and got to wear the most gorgeous custom made outfit:) Loved it!
Were there any models growing up who inspired you? Why?
Growing up it wasn’t really models who inspired me, only because I got into it a bit later on, although a lot of actresses did, who of course model a lot too for companies such as fragrance lines. Both Meryl Streep and Charlize Theron are two of my top inspirations.
What is one thing that can always make you laugh?
My best friend. Even when she is having a hard time in life, she is still so bubbly and open to whatever life throws at her. It’s such an amazing quality to have.
Finish the sentence….
If I could change one thing about myself I would change… my height, what I would give to be a few inches taller and be able to do more fashion, but overall I’m happy with what I got.
My favourite part about myself is…my cheekbones, because I get a lot of compliments on them from MUA’s and I think that they are a great asset to have as a model/dancer.
My favourite restaurant is…South 88, it’s a thai restaurant where I grew up. To this day when I go home to my parents I make sure I always grab food there!
The first thing I notice about a guy is his…Eyes!
Lastly, where do you see yourself in five years?
Having a gorgeous little condo downtown Toronto, while travelling around the world modelling in amazing locations! I would love to be in some amazing magazines like Maxim one day as-well.
